Chiranjeevee Pokhrel for DC Nepal, Thursday, December 10, 2015 – A microbus (Ba 1 Ja 9729) fell in accident and lost the life of the sub-driver at Thali, Kathmandu. The deceased has been identified Dilip Thapa Magar.
The accident has occurred in a turning. The passenger micro bus seems, due to high speed, could not be controlled and the accident occurred; however, break fail has been said as the reason for the accident. In a turning, generally, if speed is not controlled, there is always high chance of accident. Looking at the place of accident, anybody can guess the reason; however, traffic is under investigation of the reason.
In the accident, some parts of the micro has been separately scattered on the road; on the ground, human blood can be observed in quantity. As only one person has died in the accident, rest passengers have been rescued.
The accident has occurred in an acute shortage of fuel; however, this is not the only accident during the ongoing blockade. Let’s discuss about some of the accidents occurred during this gloomy months.
1. A microbus (Ga 1 Kha 5366) dropped 100 metre off the road at Beni Municipality -13 on November 14, 2015 – three persons died and 20 others were injured.
2. A bike (Ba 57 Pa 3637) fell in an accident at Sinamangal, Kathmandu on November 2, 2015 – one person died.
3. A bus (Na 3 Kha 5706) fell in accident at Ramche VDC, Rasuwa on November 4, 2015 – at least 36 died and 50 were in sustained injury.
4. A bus (Na 5 Kha 7083) and micro-bus (Ga 1 Ja 5435) collided with each-other at Charaudi-bazaar on December 7, 2015 – three people died and five others injured.
5. A motorbike (Na 2 Pa 6099) and pickup jeep (Ba 10 Cha 2063) collided at Gadimai Municipality – 3, Bara on December 10, 2015 – one died.
6. Two motorbikes collided at Chandrapur Municipality-6, Rautahat on December 10, 2015 – one died.
There are many other cases……………during last one month only.
