The Nepali Film Industry has no such profound history on cinema-making. But, recent vibes of the newer development has brought a conducive environment to producing films. Film-makers are aware of the assigned task and have made enough of few good films to compete in the race-the race where Bollywood and Hollywood fight for their share within our country.
The BOX-OFFICE is another appeal. Not just for the lost investment but for the buoyant future growth. In the absence of Box-Office, almost all films are presented as droop despite gathering huge audiences to not part with the monetary income. The lack of Film Board’s initiative and “no-legal” proceedings to check against the screen-owners has weakened the industry.
