Despite an early lead from Bimal Gharti Magar, Nepal played 1-1 against India in first half of the SAFF Championship on Sunday.Nepal took an early lead ending an 11-match goal drought through Magar in the third minutes of the match. However, Nepal’s lead could not last longer as India leveled the score through Rowlin Borges in the 26th minute. Nepal has been under immense pressure as the win can only ensure the semifinal berth while draw or defeat will send Nepal packing home. Nepal lost to Sri Lanka 0-1 in the first game of the championship, conceding three points to Sri Lanka while India is on the top of the Group with three points after defeating Sri Lanka 2-0.Nepal is playing 4-3-3 format today.
