Messi’s Afghan fan bags signed Barca shirt after homemade jersey goes viral
Five-year-old Murtaza Ahmadi, an Afghan boy who was photographed wearing a Lionel Messi T-shirt made from a plastic bag, received Barcelona and Argentina T-shirts in Kabul, Thursday, signed by the Barcelona superstar himself.
UNICEF reported that a football and signed T-shirts had been delivered to UNICEF’s office in Kabul. Murtaza Ahmadi’s photo went viral after he was photographed wearing the make-shift Messi shirt, prompting users to find the boy. The Ahmadi family admitted that they did not expect such reaction in Internet.
